Google Chrome Update


Google said on Friday that it hopes to release versions for Mac OS X and Linux in the first half of the year. Version 2.0.156.1 for Windows will have a new version of WebKit, which is the open source code Google Chrome uses to render web pages. Also included in this version will be Form Autocomplete, Full-page zoom, Spell-checking improvements, Autoscroll, Docking dragged tabs, Import bookmarks from Google bookmarks, New Safebrowsing implementation, Use different browser profiles, New network code, An update to the Javascript engine, New window frames on Windows XP and Vista, Experimental user script support (similar to Greasemonkey) and a new HTTPS-only browsing mode.
