Kim Komando today had a radio broadcast saying that people might as well blog for the love of it and not ever expect to get rich off the process. However, this statement is in reverse to Kim's previous statement that I'd heard some time ago that some bloggers make as much as 30K per month. Of course blogging is a lot of work and many blogs will never turn a penny. However, blogging is like any other business, and must be run as such. If you work hard and network your blog with other blogs and get a high ranking and lots of visitors, the possibility of turning a profit with your blog is not only very possible but highly likely.
So why would Kim reverse this previous statement? She personally is a blogger who has done quite well. Perhaps all the smaller blogs are becoming a threat to her business. We all know that one way of propping yourself up is to bump the competition down a notch or two, and while I don't have any conclusive evidence, I believe that this is what Kim may be doing.
