Tech Loaded to Resume Posting

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything on Tech Loaded. It's not that I haven't had an interest in continuing to post technology related blogs, it's just that there has been so many other things going on that I've simply not had much time. Also, it seems like our server was having a few problems interacting with blogger and since that's what our site is based it, in makes it difficult to upkeep if the site is not functioning correctly.

Of course since the last post was in 2009, there has been a lot of things that have happened. There's some cool stuff that has been introduced to the market. Apple's iPad is no longer a tablet rumor but a soon-to-be reality. What does this new "internet appliance" mean for the tech world? It will be really cool to see what kinds of things will come out of the iPad, though so far it seems like not too many pundits are impressed with the iPad at all. But as in the case with the iMac, the iPhone and many other Apple devices, the proof will be in the pudding, or rather in the pool of users. If people like it and it takes off, then it will be a success. If no one buys it and it bombs than it won't be a success. My bets are that it will be a success, since Apple products lately have seemed to constantly knock the cover off the ball. Of course, the success of the iPad will be something that 2010 will reveal. It will also be very interesting to see what the competition will be able to come up with.

Also, this post is being written in Firefox on Windows 7, which in spite of some issues has actually been quite a nice operating system so far and even for a graphic designer, it looks like a solid alternative to Mac. Of course you'll probably definitely understand me when I say it's not perfect, but when you need a 17 inch laptop and are on a budget, buying a Mac is simply out of the question.

Of course lately Google has also managed to get some "buzz" and even a lawsuit. When it comes to privacy, it seems like Google always manages to blow it and end up in some sort of lawsuit. Of course it also doesn't seem like they ever get it either.

New in 2010

With a new year beginning, I think it's a good idea to think about the direction of this blog and how we will be a service to our current readership and increase our readership as well. Of course as the technology world never stands still, this blog will change with the times and demands. Some things I'd like to add in 2010 are tutorials and some scripts and resources for website developers and programmers.

So for all the geek readers out there who are looking for tips and easy ways of getting their websites/blogs to have a better ranking in search engines, etc, this year will be an adventure as we delve further into these types of tutorials.
