Google: Doin' Evil?

Every time I log into Gmail these days, I have to click the "load basic html" link to load my email in Firefox. Once I've logged in, I can then click "switch to standard view" to see my email with the normal settings. While this may be just a coincidence, I tend to think that it is Google's subtle way of "breaking" Firefox. It does get annoying to have to do that every time I log into Gmail. It won't make me switch away from Firefox completely but it is nice that Safari never seems to have this trouble.
